This weekend we went to Texel. One of the islands in the Dutch Wadden Sea, the biggest one. It’s the easiest to visit, and therefore also the most visited one but still a gorgeous area of the country.

It was not a weekend where we had a big planning: we just stayed at a camping in the middle of the conservation area dedicated creating a good and stable dune environment for migratory birds. We went to the North Sea coast, hiked in the middle of the dunes and visited the local seal conservation centre Ecomare. It was a very cold day for the month of May, but we survived.
